Surf City Nights

Surf City Nights is downtown Huntington Beach's street fair, which is held along a closed-off section of Main Street every Tuesday night. A short walk from the inn, the street fair features a farmer's market, musical and nonmusical street performers, sidewalk sales offering artwork and unique items, and food and drinks from local restaurants and vendors. Restaurants, bars, and shops line the street, so you're sure to have a great array of options for dining and entertainment.

4th of July Celebrations

Readers of the Orange County Register voted Huntington Beach as one of the best places to celebrate the 4th of July multiple times over, and it's no wonder why. With fireworks off the Huntington Beach Pier, the longest parade west of the Mississippi River, a multi-day festival, and more, Surf City USA has been celebrating our nation's independence for over 100 years and does it up like no other community in Southern California.

Saturday Sunrise Car Cruiser

Lovingly referred to as the Best Free Car Show in the world, the Saturday Sunrise Car Cruiser has a long history of impressing car buffs in Huntington Beach. Proud auto owners line up in the parking lot on the corner of Magnolia Street and Adams Avenue near Adams Avenue Donuts to display their beautiful classic cars each Saturday morning. You'll see many favorite crowd-pleasing classics, as well as rare concept automobiles and new factory releases. This is a not-to-be-missed event.

2018 U.S. Open of Surfing

The spectacular U.S. Open of Surfing is the largest surf competition in the world. Join thousands of fans to witness the greatest surfers from around the world compete for cash and prizes in this prestigious week-long, six-star World Qualifying Series event. In addition, the beach festival features junior competitions and other extreme sports competitions, including BMX and skateboarding.

Surf City USA Marathon

This is a runner's dream. Taking place on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday (the first Sunday in February), the oceanfront course takes you through the best of Huntington Beach.

Annual Huntington Beachcruiser Meet

This event is one of Huntington Beach's favorite car shows due to its combination of cool, classic cars, such as the Woody, the official car of Surf City USA, and its prime location at the beach.

Concours d'Elegance

For over 30 years, the Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance has been one of the most outstanding automotive events in Southern California. First staged in 1986, the Concours has its home on the picturesque lawns of Huntington Central Park.

Vans U.S. Open of Surfing

The Vans U.S. Open of Surfing is the world's largest surfing competition and lifestyle festival. Each summer, over half a million people cruise the sand on the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier for nine fun-filled days.

The annual Surf City Surf Dog event at Huntington Dog Beach features a multi-heat dog surfing competition, guaranteed to entertain and impress.

Breitling Huntington Beach Air Show
